This area contains photos of vessels working not for profit.
The first coast guard ship in the Province of Canada was the Doris, a seagoing paddle steamer bought in 1850.
She is tied up at the Port Weller Dry Dock. This vessel is decomissioned and is now a National Historic site. The vessel is now tied up on the Hamilton, Ontario waterfront and is used to help educate Canadians about our naval history.
